July 20th, 2023 – Same-day delivery company, Blitz (erstwhile Grow Simplee), raises $3 million in a seed funding round. The funds will be utilised to enhance the technology infrastructure and expand the network of dark stores.

Founded by Gaurav Piyush, Yash Sharma, and Mayank Varshney just two years ago, Blitz (erstwhile GrowSimplee) offers same-day delivery for sellers for orders placed before 3 pm. Sellers can predict and store inventory near their customers in Blitz’s dark stores, offer 4-hour delivery to buyers, and fulfil all orders on the same day. Blitz plans to implement enhanced new technologies like GenAI, AR, and others to simplify the growth journey of our eCommerce sellers in India.
Speaking about the funding raised, Mayank Varshney, co-founder of Blitz said, “We’ve captured a very small section of the market right now. So, there is an opportunity to grow horizontally and vertically, which is to add more features so that we can upsell our customers to higher plans.
